Inspirame Inc. is an equity-driven education technology company made up of college counselors, diversity and inclusion experts, educators, college graduates, and community advocates who also lived through the struggles of being low-income and the first in the family to go to college. We firmly believe in the shared vision that education is the gateway to opportunity.
We know how to help students because we’ve been in their shoes — their stories are our stories. We draw from our own educational experiences each day to create tools that are dedicated to helping students succeed in college and career.

Our co-founders Mauricio & Maria struggled to complete college, making many mistakes along the way. Like most 1st generation, low-income, Mexican-American students, they just didn’t know how to navigate the complex college & university environments.
After many years, sweat, & tears, they finished their degrees & became successful professionals! Mauricio, as a tenured community college counselor & professor, and Maria as a high technology diversity executive.
Alarmed by the massive college drop-out rates for Black & Latinx students, they decided to start Inspirame Inc, an equity-driven EdTech company, focused on improving college graduation rates for everyone!
Inspirame’s flagship product, Teco, your virtual college advisor, democratize higher education for all!
